Consultations are important for us to get to the root of the problem. I will take the entire person into consideration at each appointment to find the best remedy to stimulate the body's own nautral healing ability. I have studied Herbology, Homeopathy and Aromatherapy to offer a combination of therapies providing an individualized remedy selection.
Initial Consultation
The initial appointment will last approx. 1 1/2 hours. I will ask you to bring in a 1 week food diary as well to go over any nutritional aspects needing attention. We will go over your intake form and I will take a complete history which includes your physical, emotional and mental state. I need as much information as possible in order to learn about all aspects of your health and I will help with sometimes detailed questions. I am here to help and listen. At this point, I will most likely need some time to analyze the information. Your prescription will be ready for you in 1-2 days (which will be your Homeopathic medicine along with an herbal remedy to assist your body while it heals as I find the two work well together in aiding the body to heal itself).
Follow-up Consultation
Follow-up appointments usually are about 3-4 weeks after the initial consultation and take about 30-45 minutes. Here we will evaluate how the remedy has been working for you and make any changes that are necessary. At this time you should advise me of any new symptoms that may have come up since the last appointment. This will allow me to see the progress we are making.
Homeopathic consultation for an acute condition (e.g. flu, urinary tract infection, headache, food poisoning, ear infection, colic, fever, sprains, bruises, cuts, etc.) takes approximately 20 – 30 minutes. The homeopath will ask questions pertaining to the specific condition, and some questions about the person’s general mood, sleep, appetite and so on.
